Gatsby Themed Wedding at the Swan Club

These two. I wish I had all of the words to fully describe them but the truth is that I simply cannot. What I can say is that every time Katherine would say "Let me be honest" I would laugh so hard because I knew what she was going to say before she even said it. We just GOT each other.

The first time we met, I was in crutches. Ha ha! I had actually hurt myself dancing (doing a jete if you must ask) so I had them meet me in LIC. I pretty much knew from the start that we would work perfectly together. What I didn't know was how our friendship would extend beyond their wedding and I'm so grateful that it did.

We worked with some of my favorites, Opera Steve was a given. We knew that he'd completely understand the musical vibe we were going for that would make both of their families dance the entire night. Think a Tipico Band mixed in with a DJ that knew all of the hits from the early 90's and then some. NYC Beauty Clique (a personal favorite) kept Katherine and her family shining the entire night.  Sabrina also does mine on the regular and specializes in Multicultural brides.) Floresta was so fun to work with! Seriously, we had the best time chatting away about color schemes and seasonal florals and could not stop laughing with Carlos.

Cigars were enjoyed, Tipico band played all night and laughs were had all night. An all start team for an amazing couple. I couldn't be happier to share these images as a reminder of such a beautiful day celebrating their love.
